TRL JUNIORS 2025 COMPETITIONS!

In 2025, we will be running two (2) competition seasons at various Clubs across Brisbane!

SEASON ONE: February 3 to March 21

SEASON TWO: August to October

Key Competition details:

- You can register as an individual or with a whole team (max 10 in a team).
- No extra registration fees, one affordable season fee.
- Offered for children aged 5 to 12.
- Optional uniform/merchandise available.

SEASON ONE

** REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! **

The first season of 2025 will be a 7 week Competition. Each club will play 6 weeks before coming together to compete in a Tri-Series, to crown Brisbane’s strongest club in week 7.

Players will be able to purchase an exclusive club shirt (example images will be available on the region pages next week!) which will be used when your club plays in our Tri-Series competition at the end of Season 1, as well as at the end of Season 2. Shirts are not compulsory but they will be $40 and can be purchased during registration.

Divisions

- Under 8s (children born 2016 to 2019, inclusive)
- Under 12s (children born 2012 to 2016, inclusive)
Notes:
Children who are 8 years old (born in 2016) can choose which division to play in. If this is their first experience in organised sport, we would recommend the Under 8s.

All Under 8s teams will need a volunteer each week to ensure the kids are sharing the ball in attack and are staying onside during defence. This volunteer can change weekly – it does not have to be the same person.

Format

- - 7 weeks – 6 weeks at the Club, 1 week Tri-Series.
  - 45 minutes each week (game times may vary, see Club pages for specific competition details)
- - Under 8s: Train for the first 2 weeks, then play 4 weeks of games.
  - Under 12s: Warm up and drills (10 minutes per week) followed by a game, for 6 weeks.

Pricing

- Registering as an individual: $85 for season
- Registering as a team: $700 for season (maximum of 10 players)

Club Shirts and additional merchandise are optional and can be purchased during registration. If you have registered, and decide later to purchase a shirt/merch pack, this can be paid for via bank transfer. Please contact us via email (office@trljuniors.com.au) for details.

SEASON TWO

The second season in 2025 will likely be played from August to October with exact dates yet to be confirmed.

Season two will include all three of the above Clubs (Bardon Bears, Kedron Colts and Mt Gravatt Magpies) as well as additional clubs from other South East Queensland regions.

The Club shirts for the initial three Clubs will not change so can be reused in season two if your child is playing both.
